Description
The Operations Support Trainer will be responsible for creating and assisting with ongoing training, coaching and supporting internal system users. The position will also ensure that training is consistent and in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). At Knightvest , our greatest investment is in our talent. Responsibilities
- • Develop training programs in all areas of operations.
• Analyze work problems and conduct the research needed to implement new training.
• Define, create, and implement innovative training presentations, documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Provide in-person training at various properties.
• Create weekly training webinars.
• Present in both classroom and property settings in a positive, encouraging manner by working with individuals at all levels throughout the organization.
• Create and conduct new hire and refresher training.
• Update and maintain the SOPs in support of training, ensuring that updates of these materials reflect current initiatives.
• Assist in the implementation of distance learning.
• Evaluate training initiatives, participation, and impact on performance by creating reports, gathering feedback from team members, and making recommendations for enhancements based on results.
• Work with various department heads and Regional Managers to understand areas for improvement and provide processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Assists with various non-training initiatives, including due diligence, special projects, etc.
• Oversee and facilitate the use of the Learning Management System.
Requirements
• 3+ years of multifamily experience, preferably in leasing and/or management positions, is preferred.
• 2+ years of work experience in a trainer role is preferred
• Strong understanding of the multifamily industry.
• Experience developing training methods, documentation, and creating training presentations is preferred.
• Comfortable with providing 1-on-1 and classroom-level training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities.
• An outgoing personality with the ability to build rapport, be influential, and build long-term relationships with onsite staff members.
• Effective at time management, multi-tasking, and working in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for customer service.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel. Experience with various industry software, including RealPage Products, Knock
• Will travel as needed to meet business needs - should not exceed 50%.
